The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Graduate Fellowship is a comprehensive, fully funded scholarship automatically awarded to every admitted graduate student at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. KAUST is a world-class research university focused on science and engineering, with a strong emphasis on applied research addressing global challenges in energy, environment, food security, and health. The fellowship provides full tuition coverage, an annual living allowance of up to $30,000, on-campus housing, comprehensive health and dental insurance, and relocation support. The total value of the KAUST Fellowship is estimated at $70,000–$80,000 per year. There is no separate scholarship application required — all admitted students automatically receive the fellowship. KAUST admits students to Master's and PhD programmes in bioscience, chemical and biological engineering, computer science, electrical and computer engineering, environmental science, marine science, materials science, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, and statistics. African students from all 54 countries are eligible, and KAUST actively recruits talented students from the African continent, recognising Africa's scientific and engineering talent.
