The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS) International Scholarship supports outstanding international students pursuing graduate studies (Masters and PhD) at Korean universities, providing full tuition, living expenses, and other benefits. South Korea has become an increasingly attractive destination for African students, with world-class universities in Seoul and other major cities offering programmes in engineering, natural sciences, business, social sciences, and the arts. Beyond the Global Korea Scholarship (KGSP) programme, KFAS provides additional institutional scholarships supporting international scholars at Korean universities. Scholarship recipients gain access to Korea's vibrant technological and cultural environment, benefiting from its position as a leading economy in innovation, semiconductors, shipbuilding, automotive, and entertainment industries. African students who receive Korean university scholarships can leverage Korea's global networks and industry connections for career development both in Korea and upon return to Africa.
