The University of Leeds International Excellence Scholarships offer financial support of £3,000, £6,000, or £16,000 to outstanding international students applying for taught Masters courses starting in September 2026. With 500 scholarships available, this is one of the largest scholarship programmes offered by a UK university. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic track record, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree at 2:1 (hons) or equivalent, and strong professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and extracurricular activities. The University of Leeds is a leading Russell Group research university in the north of England, renowned for its world-class research across all disciplines. The scholarship covers all subjects offered by the University except MBA programmes. Applications are reviewed in two rounds, giving students flexibility in the timing of their applications.
