The NUS Research Scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the programme, provides a monthly stipend of SGD 2,200 (master's) or SGD 2,600 (doctoral), and includes coverage under NUS's subsidised health insurance scheme. International students on the scholarship who are offered Graduate Assistantship roles additionally contribute to teaching and research duties, gaining valuable pedagogical and professional experience. The scholarship is renewable annually, subject to satisfactory academic progression.

Applications are accepted twice annually for January and August intakes, with deadlines typically in October/November for the January intake and March for the August intake.
