What TWAS Fellowships for African Scientists (Sandwich and Full) actually covers.
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) offers multiple fellowship types enabling African scientists to conduct research at world-class institutions in the developing and developed world. TWAS-CSIR, TWAS-ICCBS, TWAS-CNPq and similar fellowships are available in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Sciences, and Mathematics. Sandwich fellowships allow African PhD students to spend 6–12 months abroad while remaining enrolled at their home African institution. Postdoctoral fellowships are also available.
