What Commonwealth Shared Scholarships actually covers.
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships scheme is jointly funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and by participating UK universities to support one-year taught Master's study for candidates from eligible least developed and lower-middle-income Commonwealth countries. Because tuition is co-funded, the number and subject mix of scholarships available in any given year depends on which UK universities and courses are participating that cycle. The award covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend at CSC rates, return economy airfare, and additional grants for arrival and thesis expenses where applicable. Applications are made directly to the participating UK university (not to the CSC) alongside the regular Master's application, using the CSC's Electronic Application System.

What we checked, when we checked it.
Scholar Africa runs a link-liveness check on every listing before it goes live and an admin manually reviews every scholarship submitted by providers. Commonwealth Shared Scholarships is awaiting manual review. Five deeper checks (contact, organisation, winners, third-party, formal audit) are on the roadmap.
